Everwild Designs has a hit with pickleball jewelry
Encinitas-based Everwild Designs has created a playful new jewelry collection for pickleball enthusiasts with a name that’s right on point: PickleBelle.
Company CEO Irina Rachow, who designs Everwild’s jewelry with her daughter, Fairen, said she was introduced to pickleball in 2020. Like so many others, Rachow quickly fell in love with it.
Pickleball is widely considered the fastest growing sport in the U.S and has been a huge big hit in San Diego. Over the past few years, several cities have been looking for ways to add more courts as the sport’s popularity increases – along with wait times to play.
Everwild offers several jewelry collections, not just PickleBelle. The pickleball collection features more than 40 designs, with charms that adorn necklaces, bracelets and earrings all made from 18k gold, sterling silver, quality crystals and non-farmed diamonds.
Environmental sustainability is essential at Everwild, which was launched on April 22, 2022 – Earth Day.
The company is passionate about using recycled silver, diamonds that are grown in labs (instead of mined) and eco-friendly paper for packaging. Pieces range from $30 to $2,200.
“It was important to both my daughter and I to be environmentally sensitive and supportive of our natural spaces,” Rachow said, “We decided that for every piece of jewelry sold, we would preserve land for the animals to live in and for people to visit.”
By teaming up with the National Wildlife Federation and its Adopt-A-Wildlife Acre program, the brand has already been able to help preserve over 1,000 acres of land.
In the new year, Everwild will be introducing a new solid gold and gems series called Wild Fine in time for the summer. A Wild Zodiac collection made with local sand and soil will be available in the spring.
